In the event that a transaction cannot be completed in full and the buyer is not at fault, the customer will receive a full and immediate refund. A number of situations do exist that negate the customer's right to exit a contract under Regulation 13 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, but all customers will always be made aware of this before any agreements are put in place. We will, of course, make every effort to allow for cancellations where possible, as far as governmental procedure will permit.

In the course of the selling process, full payment will be collected from buyers as deposit before documents are passed on to the DVLA and transactions are completed. Once the DVLA confirms that plate transfer is successful, funds are released to the seller. The identities of buyers and sellers in every transaction cannot be made known in keeping with the Data Protection Act, though we must always submit to requests made by the police in their efforts to maintain the law

Complaints Handing Procedure

Target response times

Target At Absolute Reg we aim to respond with acknowledgment to all written complaints within 24 hours of receipt, and will respond in full to all complaints within a 10-day period. If a complete response cannot be issued within 10 days, customers will be kept up to date on progress every 10 days until a resolution is reached.

Our response will include: internal investigation outcome actions taken to rectify the problem and further improve upon our customer service: any refund or compensation or refund available. If a complaint cannot be resolved to the full satisfaction of the customer, an independent arbitrator may be employed to assist in the matter, at our discretion
